Audix M65 Overview
The M65 Tabletop Installed Microphone from Audix is a microphone system designed for applications where aesthetics, sound quality, and ease of installation are critical. It can be used as an alternative to a standard gooseneck microphone for government, courtroom, boardroom, video teleconferencing (VTC), house of worship, and hospitality applications.
The M65 features the Micros hypercardioid condenser capsule with solid brass, rigid tube construction. It is built with a unique pivoting swivel mount that provides a smoother and more quiet motion than conventional gooseneck microphones. All the electronics are fully integrated preamp circuitry with high sensitivity and low noise. In addition, the signal output is balanced to eliminate RF interference caused by cell phones and mobile devices. The 8' cable ends in terminal block connectors and both male and female block connectors are supplied.
Furthermore, the rigid tube design helps to provide uniform placement and gain structure when multiple mics are deployed. When not in use, the M65 can be laid horizontally for an unobstructed view. The M65 Tabletop Installed Microphone is built to withstand daily use and includes an attached foam windscreen to reduce plosives.
